Happy Heroes provides a wonderful safe, fun place for me to take my son with additional needs. It can be hard finding a place he enjoys and can do so freely without judgement for any of his behavioural tendencies. For a parent it makes a huge difference having somewhere to take your child to and know he is free to be himself and to be amongst parents who share similar experiences.

Joining Happy Heroes play group has been a has been a game-changer for our family. Having a safe space to take my daughter on the weekends for fun that is tailored and suitable for her is impossible to find anywhere else on the island. The dedicated team create a truly nurturing environment, fostering social skills and inclusivity. Happy Heroes has not only been amazing for my son, 4.5 years Autistic, but also for us as parents. My son gets his freedom to play and interact where he chooses without judgement and in safety. We get the chance to share our struggles with other parents that are going through the same or similar experiences to us. Robyn, Emma and the Rest of the team are amazing. We have been attending happy heroes since the beginning. So much thought goes into setting up the sessions, there are so many sensory stimulants and a wide variety of safe activities. It’s a great space where my children can play freely and safely, where parents/carers can relax a little and are supported by one and other. But most importantly My boys are always happy there!

Happy Heroes is a fantastic sanctuary for children & their Parents/carers. I love volunteering & seeing the children express themselves without any judgement. A safe place where they can be themselves!
