Our Happy Heroes
Happy Heroes is an inclusive charity based in Jersey, creating safe and welcoming spaces for children with disabilities and additional needs and the families who care for them.
Across the island, many families experience isolation, exhaustion, and exclusion simply because spaces are not designed with their children in mind. Happy Heroes exists to fill that gap, not with therapy or fixing, but with belonging.
We believe children thrive when they are free to be themselves, and families thrive when they feel understood and supported.
Our ApproachAt Happy Heroes:

play is child-led and sensory-aware
siblings are always welcome
parents and carers don’t need to explain or apologise
Everything we do is built around trust, safety, joy, and connection.
Supporting The Whole FamilyWe recognise that when parents and carers are supported, children benefit too.
Alongside play sessions and family events, we run retreats and wellbeing experiences for parents and carers creating space for rest, reflection, and connection with others who truly understand.

We also support the families who care for them strengthening the wider Jersey community.
